The professorship represents the teaching and research on the management of technically oriented projects, focusing on the international and interdisciplinary implementation of such projects. A personality is sought, which conveys its expertise acquired in research and in particular in professional practice with commitment and enthusiasm, and can be applied and further developed for our students. The aim is to take account of ongoing transformation processes in society, economy and technology. We require the ability to conduct courses in project management at Bachelor and Master level in German and English. You have many years of experience in the management of international projects in the fields of electrical, software or process engineering, service engineering or mechanical engineering. You are familiar with program and multi-project management, with methods and procedures of classical and agile project management, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in these areas. We expect the participation in basic training and the willingness to take lectures in professionally adjacent areas. Knowledge of quality management, artificial intelligence, modern manufacturing methods or concepts for increasing efficiency are advantageous.
