Senior IT Systems Architect – Infrastructure & Security (m/f/d)

As Senior IT Architect (m/w/d), you leave the classic daily business and focus on the curing, scaling and future-proof orientation of our hybrid environment. You are the bridge between infrastructure operation and cyber security and act as a driving force for our zero-trust vision. Security Architecture: You design and optimise the architecture of our Endpoint Security (EDR) with continuous expansion towards XDR. Strategic Zero-Trust Roadmap: You define the technical standards for our Zero-Trust approach and manage the design of secure application access (ZTNA). Incident Response Leadership: In case of security incidents, you are a technical lead in the Incident Response Team and perform forensic analyses as well as post-mortem optimizations. Proactive Vulnerability Management: You build automated vulnerability management and prioritise risks based on the business relevance of our services. Identity Governance (IAM): You are responsible for the strategy for identity protection, conditional access and modern authentication methods (MFA/SSO) across the entire Conrad Group. Technical consulting: You advise specialist areas in the introduction of new cloud services taking into account security-by-design principles.

Your success factors Education & Experience: Complete studies of (IT) security, computer science and at least six years of relevant experience in enterprise administration. Security expertise: Deep understanding of modern threat scenarios and defence mechanisms in hybrid system environments. Methodology competence: Experience in the application of frameworks such as ISO 27001. Azure & Cloud Security: Funded knowledge in Microsoft Entra ID (former Azure AD) and Azure Cloud Security Controls. Analytics & Communication: You can evaluate complex security risks and communicate them to the management as well as to the operational teams. Certifications: Ideally you have senior certifications such as Microsoft SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect) or SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator). Languages: Very good German (C1 level) and English (B1 level) in word and writing
