Technical Head of Department - Noise Protection / SoundPLAN / Engineering / Immission Control (m/f/d)

Become part of our competent team and actively shape the future with us. You lead and develop your specialist team in Immission Protection and actively shape the strategic orientation of the department. You are responsible for the holistic planning, control and billing of sound engineering projects – from offering creation to final quality assurance. You allow the creation of sound engineering expert reports (e.g. according to TA noise) for commercial, leisure and traffic noises in the framework of approval procedures. With the help of SoundPLAN, you will create technical contributions for road construction projects and plan measures for active noise protection according to relevant guidelines such as RLS-19. You represent your specialist topics sovereignly, advise contractors and present work results convincingly in political bodies.

You have a degree in a relevant field such as natural sciences, civil engineering or geography. As an experienced manager, you think strategically, tax budgets securely and motivate your team to the best. You know well with the relevant standards and laws (e.g. RLS-19, TA Noise) and represent your expert opinion in approval procedures. When handling SoundPLAN, you are versed, ideally you will also bring first GIS knowledge. You communicate strongly, present convincingly with political bodies and are practiced in dealing with contracting authorities. Very good German skills (at least C1) are essential for this position.
