The SOS Children's Village Augsburg – Child, Youth and Family Assistance offers outpatient, stationary and open offers for children and young people and their families at several locations in Augsburg. For our SOS Children's Village in Augsburg we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in parttime (27 hours/Where) Your task: In this responsible position, you will accompany small families in different situations of life and help create a stable and safe environment for children. You advise parents on education and development issues, support them in challenging situations and prepare them for an independent and self-responsive life and promote a trusting parent-child relationship. Your work will help you strengthen family ties, help you activate networks and provide tailor-made help. You act in a solution-oriented manner, control educational processes targeted and work closely with relevant authorities and institutions to ensure the best possible and sustainable support. Your specific tasks include: Advising families with legal and administrative questions and support for formalities and requests Promoting open and value-adding cooperation between parents and professionals Control of the educational key processes in case-related and result-oriented Supporting parents in social integration and building stable networks Collection and analysis of support documentation for the derivation of educational measures Implementation of targeted measures to identify risks and ensure a protected environment for children

You have a degree as an educator or a university degree as a social pedagogue or social worker. Their actions are characterised by systemic and resource-oriented thinking. Their willingness and interest to engage in intensive relationship work are strong. You show willingness for flexible working hours, including day, night and weekend services, and willingness to call. You are open to professional and personal development. Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in the field of stationary child and youth assistance. Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional.
