Construction mechanic metal (m/f/d)

In your role, you take over the assembly, adaptation and stitching of shipbuilding parts and thus contribute to the quality and precision of the construction process. After appropriate instruction, you carry out welding work like the setting of bolts and assists in pressing welds. You grind, burn and heat components according to building documents and quality standards and take over the reworking of boarding bumps. In addition, you carry out light forging work as part of cold and hot deformations. In addition, you build pallets and shelves, draw AH markings and take off models. You will implement change notifications (EMA) as well as further adaptation work independently and in accordance with the standard. Another focus is the work with industrial robots: You set up the systems, start and monitor operation, perform calibrations, change tools and adjust parameters. Finally, you document running times, disturbances and maintenance intervals.

You have a successfully completed training as a construction mechanic in the field of metal and shipbuilding and thus fulfill all the technical requirements according to the current training regulations. Multiannual professional experience in metal or shipbuilding technology as well as knowledge in forging are advantageous and additionally strengthen your professional profile. At a personal level, you bring significant organizational skills and work structured and conceptual. A high level of technical understanding, creativity and flexibility characterize you – especially when it comes to developing solutions or responding to new situations. You like to work on your own initiative and independently, but you also appreciate the team's cooperation. Your professional experience allows you to quickly capture tasks, implement them safely and actively contribute your expertise to daily work.
