In IT Application Management, you will form the central interface between software manufacturers, IT providers, as well as internal specialist and IT areas in order to operate and further develop the banking interface and data services. With your technical know-how, you can ensure the stable and smooth operation of bank-related connections, in particular via REST interfaces, community APIs for banks and event-controlled data flows via Apache Kafka. You are responsible for the productive use of the underlying runtime and platform environment OpenShift, including fault analysis, workarounds and sustainable improvements in operating and production processes. You continue to operate and develop our observability landscape, logging with Kibana/ELK as well as monitoring and alerting with Grafana to detect Incidents early and to increase the service quality measurably. As an idea provider and in the implementation control, you drive the targeted further development of the connection and data architectures between the core banking system, data platforms and digital resystems, focusing on stability, decoupling and scalability.

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of (economic) informatics or have a comparable qualification. You bring profound experience in the operation of container-based platforms, especially OpenShift (Kubernetes) and have deeper knowledge in the design and operation of REST interfaces as well as experience with Community APIs for banks (e.g. FinTS / PSD2-compliant interfaces). You have practical experience with Apache Kafka as an event streaming platform, from topic design and consumer groups to operation and troubleshooting. You work safely with Kibana/ELK as well as Grafana (in combination with Prometheus) and use Observability to improve production stability. Advantageous knowledge of the Avaloq environment, in particular in the interaction of CAPI and DataFlow, as well as in the connection of data storage and conversion systems.
