Number: MER0003Z8U The Global Logistics department plans, develops and supports, among other things, the IT systems for the international supply of the Mercedes-Benz car plants. Impressed by strong growth in international markets, new processes and IT solutions are established worldwide for international locations. In an interesting environment, you will work in the Project Management Office (PMO) in the planning, design, implementation, testing and rollout phase of the IT systems. Mainly you will be able to gain experience in the product GSS+ (Global Supply System). You will also be able to work with other IT4SC (IT for Supply Chain) products. Your position in the PMO Operations gives you exciting insights into the processes of a large IT project and get to know the team members quickly. During your student work, you acquire extensive knowledge about the logistics network of Mercedes-Benz Cars and work with the latest technologies such as SAP on S4 Hana. The company offers insights into the processes of an automotive group for premium vehicles in the form of information days, factory tours and other offers. These challenges come to you: You take responsibility for the on-boarding of new product members and help new product members to support from the first day. You combine social and technical aspects and adhere to the corporate guidelines

With your knowledge of product-relevant systems and accesses, you are the first respondent to our team when you need help to overcome obstacles and get to know the basic rules of a large group

You support the appointment organization in all key areas, e.g. preparation of presentations, invitation of project members, presentation and logging of the content

You work with the latest software tools such as SAP FIORI, MS SharePoint or SAP Solution Manager (SolMan). As a team member in the Operational PMO (Product Management Office), you are usually a pioneer in establishing new software tools. You use their knowledge to support the first institution

You maintain and develop product-internal communication. Based on the information you receive in the product, you will know when the organigram has to be extended by another location and who will occupy the role. You understand to use the information for the good of the product. Knowledge of project management is advantageous for the product-internal role and process understanding

In addition, you are in contact with the specialist department and assist in the cooperation between IT and the specialist department, which is why team capacity is a core competence of the activity in our product.

Due to the size of the product, you work in a dynamic and international team and support in product-internal communication. Here you can help you with good English skills in word and writing

Course in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, BWL, Logistics, Mathematics or Similar Study Course
