Manager (m/w/d)

This is your task

Head of Customs (m/w/d) You are the customs integrity of the Heinemann Group – strategic, proactive and with direct influence on international business processes.

In particular,

• guide and develop your Customs team professionally and disciplinaryly
• develop the customs strategy for the Heinemann Group
• control and develop group-wide customs processes
• Ensure Customs Compliance for all Group Companies
• control cooperation with other departments to optimize customs-relevant processes (e.g. master data, return management, monitoring of stocks)
• introduce customs-relevant aspects into strategic projects (e.g. Tender, M&A, SAP rollouts, complex supplier and customer contracts) and let your expertise be incorporated into business decisions
• act as a central contact person for customs and financial authorities

You bring that with

• Complete study of economic or legal sciences (Master or Dipl. Finance manager:in)
• Long-term professional experience in customs and in contact with authorities
• Knowledge of customs and excise tax law of the EU and Germany and turnover tax law
• Embossed analytical understanding and the ability to develop proactive and independent solutions for complex issues
• Communication strength, persuasiveness and decision-making
• German and English knowledge in word and writing
