In the team of strategic planning, 16 colleagues work closely, trustingly and across themes to make the pioneering topics of mobility and traffic safe and attractive for all road users in Wolfsburg. RESPONSIBILITY OF LIGHT SIGNALS IN THE TRAINING You will first set the traffic planning requirements for LSA replanations and carry out the coordination with the signal building companies. You check the traffic documentation (VTU) and support the traffic authority in the assessment and acceptance of temporary construction sites LSA. SIGNAL PROGRAMME ANALYSIS AND OPTIMATION You analyze, judge, and optimierst signal programs based on the most diverse questions or with regard to coordination, PNV regulations or major events. For this, you can use the traffic calculator to control the traffic flow as needed and efficiently. BENEFIT ACTIVITIES CONTRACTS You carry out performance assessments to check whether the existing transport infrastructure is still sufficient for planned developments and make proposals for necessary adjustments. TRANSPORT DATA ANALYSIS You are launching traffic surveys and traffic tests and make recommendations for traffic authorities to continuously improve traffic safety and traffic flow. EXPENDITURE AND REGISTRATION OF TRANSPORT CONSULTATIONS To clarify complex questions and obtain opinions, you will prepare the tender documents and supervise the commissioned offices in their preparation. You are responsible for planning the general directions to RWB 2000 and for special directions in the city area. REPRÄSENTATION OF THE RESEARCH AREA As a representative of the road load carrier, you participate in working groups, specialist committees and committee meetings and represent traffic concerns towards other designers and in response to requests for citizens and local councils.

QUALIFIKATION You have successfully completed a university degree in the field of civil engineering or transport engineering with the focus on transport technology, mobility and/or transport, or with comparable priorities. You will bring at least three years of professional experience in the field of traffic planning or traffic engineering, as well as experience in the development or testing of traffic documentation of light signalling systems. It is advantageous if you have experience in municipal work structures and knowledge in public procurement law. You have knowledge of the relevant laws and guidelines. It is desirable if your profile is rounded off by experience in handling software such as LISA+ and VISSIM. You are looking forward to work in a creative and dedicated team. You have a high communication and organizational capability and are strong. Your self-responsive and solution-oriented work will distinguish you. Your knowledge of German corresponds to the level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. Ideally, you have a class B driver's license so that you can get a picture of the traffic on site.
