With the enrolled position, we focus not only on emergency and crisis managers from KRITIS companies, but also specifically on applicants from fire brigade, THW, Bundeswehr, disaster protection, police or comparable deployment organisations who want to bring their practical experience into a KRITIS company. You are responsible for building, implementing, developing and maintaining emergency and crisis management systems for customers in the energy and water supply sector You regularly create, maintain, review and update emergency, alarm and crisis plans and ensure their effectiveness

You ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the field of emergency and crisis prevention

You coordinate and control actions for event management in exceptional events such as emergencies, major disasters and crises

You act as a central interface to authorities, operational and security forces as well as internal areas of expertise and actively contribute to the preventive strengthening of crisis resilience

You prepare emergency exercises and training, perform them and then systematically evaluate them

You support the top management function, such as management and board, in the event of a crisis by creating positional images, sound decision bases and structured documentation

You take over the systematic follow-up of events, identify Lessons Learned and follow the implementation of derived actions consistently

You have a completed technical, safety-relevant or business studies or have a comparable qualification through multi-year practical experience or leadership You bring multi-year professional experience in emergency, crisis, risk or security management, ideally in the KRITIS environment such as energy, infrastructure or industry

Experience in staff work, decision-making support and official vote

You have relevant experience in cooperation with authorities such as fire brigade, catastrophe protection, police, Bundeswehr or control center operations, as well as comparable organisations for preventive crisis resilience

A high level of system understanding for emergency management in a multi-species KRITIS company is available

You are able to coordinate cross-species and communicate with local and superordinate authorities

Analytical skills, structured, solution-oriented and self-responsive work are among your strengths

High decision-making capability, resilience and sovereignty even in stress situations
