In your new role, you are responsible for the professional development and maintenance of Cobol application systems in the IBM Mainframe environment (e.g. stock management) You are responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation of the supervised systems and are actively working on their modernization The connection of new products and the implementation of new tariffs into the existing system landscape are also your tasks You bring yourself into varied projects and shape them In addition, you are responsible for providing interfaces to (Java) applications In addition to partnering with the relevant departments, e.g. in the context of business analyses and test management, you take over the advice of the specialist areas in IT-driven issues and propose suitable implementation options

You are convinced by a strong communication and cooperation capability and you want to actively shape themes You trade bindingly, take responsibility and bring entrepreneurial thinking and action with you You have completed training in software development, a relevant study or a comparable qualification/experience You already have several years of experience in Cobol development and possibly Delta identifiers You know about DB2 and TSO or are ready to work on these topics You have experience with source management tools (e.g. CMN / SVN, GIT), IMS DC, ISPF, SDSF2 and UC4 Ideally, you bring experience in business analysis and projects and are interested in working in an agile environment.
