The Chair of Aerospace Engineering at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering is working in the field of automation of manned and unmanned aircraft. In this context, system and performance models of combat aircraft are developed and embedded in simulators for applications in training and training. In a current research project, methods and procedures are to be developed for the production of representative computers Generated Forces (CGF)-Simulations. Modern AI technologies are to be used to control CGF behavior. It is also necessary to establish a suitable validation & verification (V&V) process which allows the degree of confidence and suitability of the models for the training of jet pilots.
