Patient advisor with a legal focus (m/f/d)

With a basic legal qualification, you will introduce an important perspective into our interdisciplinary consulting team. You help seekers with interdisciplinary expertise, clarify health, health and psychosocial issues and enable them to find themselves in the health system. In this role you take responsibility for the independent advice of counsel seekers and act as a lottery in the health system. Together with the applicants, You clarify their concerns and provide clear, legally sound information – individually tailored and comprehensible. If necessary, you will initiate a transfer to suitable alternative consultancy offers or institutions. With your legal expertise, you help people in challenging situations to exercise their rights and develop sustainable solutions. The consultation is carried out personally, by telephone and also in writing and by video. As part of our regional advisory team, you are involved in local network work and contribute to the visibility and effectiveness of the Foundation through events, conferences and cooperations.

Our advice is interdisciplinary – we are specifically looking for legal expertise with strong consulting competence. Qualification: You have completed legal studies (at least first state exams), ideally focusing on medical law or social law. You have vocational training as a social security specialist or a comparable qualification; or Alternatively, you will bring an equivalent qualification with sound legal knowledge in the healthcare sector.

Professional experience: You bring several years of professional experience – ideally in patient advice. Your experience in dealing with patients is the basis for your work with us. Openness for interdisciplinaryness: You bring a legal perspective, but You are also willing to provide advice on general health or psychosocial concerns – within the scope of your competences and supported by collegial cooperation in the interdisciplinary team. Communication skills: You can provide complex legal and health issues with addressable, empathic and precise, and effectively support counsel seekers.
