GTU Geothermie Unterschleißheim AG is a private company of the city of Unterschleißheim and a flagship company in municipal environmental and climate protection. You take over the technical management of the operational coordination and monitoring of our geothermal and district heating systems and ensure that our plant infrastructure is operated safely, efficiently and sustainably. You will work closely with external technical operations, our service providers and regulatory bodies. You keep an overview of all technical, commercial and regulatory aspects and act as a central contact person for the Executive Board and co-ordinating section between management, authorities, internal departments and other stakeholders. As a principal responsible person for the monitoring of operations, you have the required scope of action to effectively implement your expertise and to support our team optimally. The tasks include: Technical monitoring of geothermal and district heating systems in close cooperation with external operations (network operation, pumps, heat exchangers, peak load systems) Control of external operator performance in terms of availability, efficiency, safety and environmental standards Monitoring of key operating characteristics, such as heat losses, degrees of utilization and disturbance events Monitoring, documentation and testing of maintenance and maintenance measures Technical decrease of measures and disturbances in coordination with the technical management Cooperation in asset management and further development of the long-term investment strategy Commercial and contractual tasks: Contract management of the management contract including monitoring of defined KPIs and SLAs Examination and approval of performance certificates, budget planning and cost developments Participation in investment planning, in particular on renewal and modernisation measures Examination of operational reports, technical documents and documentation Interface and Authorities Management: Availability as a central operator for the operator and technical service provider Coordination with authorities on mining, water and environmental issues and occupational safety issues Participation in audits and network meetings for technical management Regulatorics, quality and sustainability: Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and normative requirements (including EnWG, AVBFernwärmeV, DGUV, WHG, VDI) Support in risk and emergency management and occupational safety Process optimization to increase energy efficiency and implement climate protection measures

Successfully completed university studies in the field of supply/energy technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering (with heavy energy) or in a comparable field Vocational experience in the field of district heating and geothermal energy Experience in technical management, plant management and management of energy plants Good knowledge of relevant technical regulations and regulations High motivation to make an active contribution to the municipal heat transfer Enforcement and communication strength as well as high readiness Self-employed and structured work IT skills in common MS Office applications and monitoring systems Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (C1 or higher)
