Our R & D tyre organization is driving forward continuous innovation and utilizing existing internal and external knowledge to design and develop the most efficient and sustainable tyres on the market. In this function you take over the professional and organizational leadership of the paralegal team in the field of IP Tires. You actively shape the development of the team as well as the optimization of tools and processes to achieve our common goals efficiently. You report directly to the Head of IP Tires and take over the following main tasks: Professional and disciplinary leadership of the IP Paralegal Team: promotion of individual development and competence building in the team, ensuring efficient distribution of tasks and representation; and Promoting a team-oriented, solution-oriented work culture Operational control and quality assurance: Responsibility for the timely and high-quality processing of all administrative IP processes (e.g. notifications, deadline management, extensions, document management), monitoring and optimization of the workflows in the daily business, interface to external firms, software providers, other external service providers (translation offices, fee service providers), offices and internal stakeholders Process optimization and digitization: Analysis of existing processes and identification of potential improvements in close cooperation with patent professionals, initiation and implementation of measures to increase efficiency and close cooperation with IT and IP management for the further development and optimal use of IP tools (e.g. IP management systems, automation tools, workflows) Promoting continuous improvement culture (e.g. Lean, Kaizen) Project work and strategic development: management or participation in cross-departmental projects for the further development of the IP organization Support in the development and implementation of the administrative IP strategy and monitoring of relevant developments in legal technology and IP operation International IP Topics: Supporting cooperation with departments internationally in all areas of IP Tires' industrial property rights from an administrative perspective Employee inventor's right: Basic knowledge and implementation of the legal requirements of employee inventor's law in Germany and internationally

(m/w/d), IP paralegal or comparable qualification (e.g. lawyer and notary staff (m/w/d)); ideally complemented by further education in the field of IP management or project management Multiannual experience in the IP field, in particular in the administrative supervision of protection rights leadership experience, ideally team lead / leadership in the IP paralegal area Very good knowledge of IP management systems, safe handling of digital tools and affinity for IT-supported processes, experience in the field of employee invention compensation, also in the international context, taking into account the respective jurisdiction multiannual experience in the analysis and optimization of workflows; Knowledge of lean management or comparable methods desirable, safe handling of digital tools and affinity for IT-supported processes Experience in the administrative support of international patent licensing procedures at the interface to international IP teams in-house and/or external patent attorney offices Flowing German and English skills Applications for disabled people are welcome.
