Social education/-in integrated We are looking for you for the Youth Office of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place is to be occupied in parttime (90 %) and indefinitely as of 01.09.2025. As a focal point for educational assistance in the districts Weilimdorf and Feuerbach, we are involved in the offer of integrated common learning groups – in short IgeL. Here we work in a multidisciplinary team to enable children with a particularly challenging behaviour to have opportunities for education and development.

Group work with children in primary school is one of your main tasks They work in close cooperation with the special teachers of the Albert-Schweizer-Schule and the Seelachschule the care and support of girls and boys in the IgeL groups as well as individual support are also part of your responsibility actively work with parents and support them as needed They design help settings in coordination with the families and the advisory centre according to the requirements of the individual case Crisis intervention and participation in child protection are also part of your task They develop and use social-spatial resources

a study in the field of social work or Social education with state recognition, education or childhood education or a comparable educational degree Experience in the field of education and work in and with schools high cooperation and communication skills and the ability to engage in different (institutional) interests and to develop solutions Consulting competence for different target groups Interest and willingness to contribute to the professional and organisational development of youth assistance in schools wide repertoire of deescalation strategies in work with individual children and with groups Safety in the implementation of the child protection order
