You take responsibility for the integration of new locations and work closely with the departments to coordinate product and purchasing decisions In a cross-functional team, you are part of the category management for the optimal assortment composition and the best supplier portfolio for new OBI locations. Market, location and competitive analyses help you make informed decisions From planning to implementation, you accompany the opening of new locations and agree closely with the relevant category managers As an interface between the central office and the new markets, you are a contact person:in terms of assortment issues and communicate directly with all relevant stakeholders You plan and conduct supplier negotiations to successfully integrate new sites into the OBI network – both in the case of new openings and market acquisitions

The customer is always at the heart of you and you make your choices to the customer You like to take entrepreneurial responsibility – balancing between location-specific requirements and central concepts You You firmly believe in the interplay of central, local and digital and that a customer journey no longer runs one-dimensionally today You have fun managing supplier relationships and can demonstrate success in self-led negotiations You see data as a chance to make your decisions better You have no problem with dipping hands-on deeply into details, but always keeps the view for the big whole You are a:e macher:in as well as a:e team player:in and add yourself well into our All machbar culture You have several years of experience in project management and know yourself in the tasks of category management/purchasing and have fun to accompany the expansion of OBI A successfully completed study, fluent English skills, safe handling in Google Workspace/MS-Office and a high degree of self-responsibility complete your profile
