We are looking at the Department of Social Affairs at the next possible time for a Head of Youth Advice and Family Strengthening Services (m/w/d) The Department of Social Affairs develops the offers of child and youth assistance according to § 28 SGB VIII socially and multi-professional. In particular, the focus is on the use of psychologists in schools as well as medical teachers in day care facilities to promote inclusive developments on site. The job share includes 50% line and control as well as 50% fall work. Payment is made depending on the personal qualification in pay group 13 or Fourteen.

Your tasks:

Tasks in the field of line & control technical and organisational management of the advisory body including staff management and team development of a multi-professional team strategic development of offers in the social-spatial context in cooperation with schools, daycare facilities and free institutions Development of inclusive approaches in school and kita as well as participation in their structural anchoring in Ulm Budget planning and control Participation in the technical coordination and further development of the education and family advice in the youth assistance team of the Department of Social Affairs, in particular with regard to social-spatial offers, interface work and integrated aid structures Tasks in case work: Advising families under § 28 SGB VIII Participation in case meetings and processing of complex case configurations Social-space-oriented case work in close cooperation with schools, kitas and other actors, in particular in an inclusive context Documentation and participation in help processes and network work technical advice and support for pedagogical professionals in schools and day care institutions

Your profile: completed degree or master's degree in social work, social education, psychology, medical education, education, or comparable discipline multiannual relevant professional experience in education counselling or in comparable fields of work of child and youth assistance in the case of university diplomas: recognised advising or therapeutic additional qualification (e.g. systemic advice/therapy, behavioral therapy or approval) Ability to conceptual and strategic work in complex systems Leadership competence as well as structured and team-oriented working Decision-making and safe occurrence
