Your tasks Together with your team, you will review annual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB and IFRS and analyze financial information, processes and internal controls. You work on Accounting, Financial Reporting and Finance issues and conducts sound assessments from data, documents and conversations. You use digital tools, data analytics and AI-related approaches to make testing and analysis processes more efficient and meaningful. You will gain insights into Technology Risk, IT Audit, ESG Reporting and Forensic & Compliance and understand how trust arises in information, systems and processes. You develop your professional profile across multiple stations and decide after 24 months in which Assurance area you want to take responsibility in the long term. During the individual phases, you will be accompanied professionally, receive regular feedback and build a strong network within EY.

You'll convince us Complete or timely completed Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics, BWL, Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economic Law, Engineering or a comparable degree program. Very good knowledge of German and English, at least C1. Analytical operation, accuracy and interest in numbers, processes, data and economic relationships. Interest in auditing, finance, accounting, risk, data analytics or technology-based assurance.

What is more beneficial Internship, work placement, training or project in audit, accounting, finance, controlling, banking, risk, consulting, data analytics or IT-related topics. First practical experiences are of advantage, but no need. First contact points with HGB, IFRS, Excel, BI tools, data analysis, process analysis or AI-based tools. Interest in the auditor path or specializations such as Audit Analytics, Technology Risk or ESG Assurance.
