Application IT Specialist – Process Optimization & Digitization (m/f/d)

Process optimization & digitization: You identify optimization potentials in business and IT processes, develop measures to increase efficiency and actively participate in digitization and automation projects – in close coordination with the departments and our business consultants. Application development: You develop, expand and maintain internal software and web applications, adapt existing systems to new requirements and create interfaces as well as automated workflows. Analysis & Conception: You analyze the requirements of the departments, design technical solutions, create cost estimates and assess the technical feasibility. System integration & operation: You integrate new applications into existing system landscapes, maintain used IT systems and ensure their performance and availability. Support & quality assurance: You support 2nd level support, analyze and troubleshooting, perform software tests and document results for continuous quality improvement.

Qualification: You have a completed IT training (e.g. specialist in application development/system integration or comparable) and at least three years of professional experience in the IT environment. Expertise: You bring good knowledge in at least one programming language, experience in handling databases and basic knowledge in software tests, documentation and version management. IT confession: You have a good understanding of software and IT processes and are ready to work into new systems and technologies. Additional knowledge: You have ideally experience in process optimization, automation, APIs, project management methods as well as basic knowledge of IT security and data protection. Social Skills: You convince through analytical thinking, a structured and self-responsive way of working, high learning readiness, team capacity, reliability and clear and address-oriented communication.
