Your job offer as a design mechanic in Remscheid Do you want to manufacture high-quality steel components according to technical drawings and introduce your experience in MAG welding? For an established metalworking company, a construction mechanic, MAG welder or metal manufacturer (m/w/d) is sought at the next possible time.

In this job offer you produce workpieces and welding structures of different sizes. You build components according to drawing and list of pieces, lift the individual components and then weld them professionally.

You expect a long-term activity with a 35-hour week, regulated working hours and without shiftwork. The entry is first made within the framework of the transfer of employees via the BESTpro Personalkonzepte GmbH. A later takeover is expressly provided.

You receive a remuneration according to the GVP/DGB-Tarifwerk, supplemented with over-tariff supplements and extensive additional benefits. Your mission is personally accompanied by the BESTpro team.

You bring this as a sweater

• You have a completed training as a design mechanic, metal maker, specialist for metal technology or a comparable qualification.
• Alternatively, you have several years of professional experience in steel construction or metal processing.
• You have very good practical knowledge in MAG welding, ideally after welding process 135.
• You can safely read and implement technical drawings and lists.
• You have experience in building, stapling and welding steel structures.
• You'll be safe with measuring and testing equipment.
• A current welding license is advantageous and can be retrieved or renewed if necessary.
• A crane license is desirable, but no compelling requirement.
• You have sufficient knowledge of German for work instructions, drawings and documentation.

Your tasks as MAG welder

• You manufacture workpieces and steel components according to technical drawings and parts lists.
• You prepare individual components for further processing and assembly.
• You build welding structures independently and align the components professionally.
• You heat and weld components with the MAG welding process.
• You work on constructions and workpieces of different sizes and thicknesses.
• You check measurements, angles and tolerances with suitable measuring and testing equipment.
• You control your welds and ensure consistently high production quality.
