Technical Lead - IT Application Management & Rapid Development Squad (f/m/d)

As a Technical Lead – IT Application Management & Rapid Development, you define the technical orientation for a team responsible for stable, secure and future-oriented application services in a regulated banking environment. You act as an experienced technical:r expert:in and trustworthy:r consultant:in specialist areas, IT teams as well as external service providers. You define architecture principles, technology standards and best practices and ensure that solutions are scalable, manageable and consistent with business and regulatory requirements. Even if the operating operation is essentially provided by external IT service providers, you retain the overall technical responsibility for the application landscape. You review technical concepts, critically question solutions, support complex incidents and advance the continuous modernization of applications, integrations and operating processes. In addition, you support rapid development initiatives through the implementation of pragmatic solutions, for example in the form of automation, integrations, prototypes and minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to quickly and efficiently create added value for the business. In detail: Defining the technical orientation and target architecture for Application Management & Rapid Development Establishment and continuous development of technical standards, architectural principles and quality requirements Conception and evaluation of solution architectures for applications, integrations, APIs and operating platforms Ensure that external IT service providers provide solutions and services according to agreed technical standards, service levels and regulatory requirements Examination and critical evaluation of technical solutions and architectural proposals Activity as a trusted technical:r consultant:in specialized areas, IT teams, architects and external partners Translation of technical requirements into robust, scalable and predictable technical solutions Support in developing integrations, automations, prototypes, internal tools and MVPs Promoting modernization initiatives through automation, API-based architectures, cloud technologies and DevOps practices Function as technical escalation response partner for complex incidents and critical production disorders Analysis of the causes of technical problems and derivation and implementation of sustainable measures to improve application stability and operational excellence

Multiannual professional experience in application management, in solution architecture, software development, in application operation or in a comparable technical role Understanding application architectures, integrations, APIs, databases, operating processes and production support Experience in the design, evaluation and governance of technical solutions in complex business environments Experience in cooperation with and the technical control of external IT service providers Designed analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop pragmatic and sustainable solutions Good programming knowledge, ideal in Java; Knowledge of JavaScript, Python or C# is advantageous Experience with APIs, integration patterns, messaging solutions and modern application architectures Ideally experience with CI/CD, automation, cloud technologies, container platforms, Oracle, Kafka, IAM, Unix/Linux or SAP integrations Impressed communication skills and the ability to process complex technical issues in a comprehensible way for technical and non-technical stakeholders Structured, solution-oriented and practical operation Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
