Project Manager (m/f/d)

To strengthen our project management office (PMO) team, we are looking for a full-time and unlimited time Project Manager (m/w/d).

In your role as a project manager, you are responsible – in compliance with our high quality standards – for the timely and costly execution of national and international major projects in a very demanding military environment. You work closely with various departments and ensure efficient project processing. You report to the Director Project Management Office.

Total responsibility for the projects taken from the contract transfer and EDC until the end of the warranty period or the official project conclusion Central contact (POC) for the customer for all technical, commercial and organizational matters Internal interface with reporting obligation to the management and the senior management team Ensuring internal communication and coordination of all tasks and measures necessary for the successful implementation of the project internally and externally. Leadership and motivation of the project team within a matrix organization Creation of stressful effort assessments, well-founded requirements analyses, detailed project plans and programmes, and implementation of a proactive risk management and further strategic planning activities Purchasing of the project using the ERP system further development and optimization of the project management tools and processes for the PMO with the aim of implementing efficiency improvements both within the PMO and, if appropriate, across the department If necessary and appropriate capacity support for the proposal processing in the offer phase for new projects and projects

Successfully completed studies in commercial or technical fields Multiannual professional experience, preferably in Wehrtechnik, in the shipbuilding industry or in the corresponding subcontracting industry High technical affinity and very good commercial knowledge, including in contract design Finding experiences in project management with demonstrable successes are assumed; certification on IPMA Level C (or comparable) and experience with agile project management methods are advantageous Structured and analytical methods, very good presentation and communication skills as well as a high level of team and conflictability. readiness for multi-day international travel as well as very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
