Application Developer / Product Configurator - Würth Vehicle Equipment (m/f/d)

Our growing business area “Würth Fahrzeugeinrichtungen” offers an all-in-one solution for our corporate customers who want to make optimal use of the limited space in their vehicles. We provide precise, high-quality and individual rack system solutions for car and transport equipment tailored to the specific needs and vehicles of our customers. In your new role as an application developer / product configurator (m/w/d), you are responsible for the following activities:

Administration, maintenance and continuous development of the existing product configurator for vehicle devices. Active cooperation in the design and development of new configurators, including modern technologies and AI-based approaches. Modeling and maintenance of product control units for mapping technical dependencies and variant logics as well as 3D visualization of configuration results. Coordination of technical requirements with sales, design, work preparation and production as well as support for implementation. Operation of applications including interface support, technical user support and support. Development of dynamic user interfaces and implementation of automated document generation. Ensuring system quality and stability through structured documentation, testing and quality assurance. Control and further development of the area of responsibility incl. the takeover of professional leadership in perspective.

Successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics, software development, engineering or a comparable qualification as the basis of your profile. Experience in the administration, development or implementation of product configurators. Interest in modern technologies and the development of new technical solutions. First experience in project management is desirable. Good programming knowledge in relevant languages such as JavaScript, Python, PHP or Tcl. Experience in 3D visualization as well as in modeling of rules and technical dependencies. Team skills, communication strength and joy in in interdisciplinary cooperation. Occasionally readiness to travel about two days a month. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing complete your profile.
