<p><strong>The University Hospital of Brandenburg an der Havel</strong> forms the University Hospital of the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences Theodor Fontane (MHB) and stands for a modern focus provider with 16 departments and 508 plan beds as well as around 25,000 stationary and 65,000 outpatient patients each year. Together with our more than 2500 employees, we are working on our common goal of optimal patient care in the Greater Brandenburg and Berlin.</p> <p><strong>Our Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy </strong> Advises the surgical disciplines General Surgery, Traumatology, Child Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neck-Nasen-Ohrene-Heilkunde, Ophthalmology, Vascular Surgery and Neurosurgery. In addition, if required, narcoses are taken over for diagnostic interventions and for implantation of cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators. All modern methods of general and regional anaesthesia and child anaesthesia are used. A total of about 14,000 anesthesia takes place per year. The interdisciplinary intensive care unit has 18 ventilation places. The clinic also occupies the in-house emergency medical emergency vehicles (NEF) and the on-site rescue helicopter Christoph-35.
