Total responsibility: As a management insurance, you take over the overall strategic responsibility for the insurance sector of an international trading group. You ensure the optimal economic and content of the insurance cover and create transparency over costs, benefits and coverage Insurance strategy: In close cooperation with an international insurance broker, design, implement and optimise the company's domestic and international insurance programs for the protection of investments, construction projects, corporate projects and other operational activities Risk Management: You analyze the group-wide risk exposure along the entire value chain and develop measures for damage prevention and risk mitigation together with internal and external contact persons Damage management: You lead a five-person damage team and help the foreign companies manage large and complex damage Cooperation: You work closely with internal interfaces, foreign companies and management. In doing so, you will prepare policy-relevant decisions, risk analyses and action recommendations for addressable decisions Control: You are responsible for the annual budget planning of your area and check measures for cost optimization as well as damage and premium control. Develop and monitor standards, policies and processes in insurance management across society Digitization and AI: Together with your eight-member team You make meaningful use of AI and digital solutions to make processes, analyses and reporting more efficient and forward-looking in your area

Qualification: A successfully completed study with an economic, legal or insurance focus, for example BWL, VWL or economic law, or a comparable qualification forms your technical basis Expertise and professional experience: You bring well-founded knowledge in the field of insurance, ideally with several years of experience in the design and management of international programmes in the field of industrial insurance, corporate insurance and/or international programmes with Business environment: Ideally, you have a strong understanding of the risk and compliance structures of a trading group and are interested in the company, its business processes and the activities of the foreign companies Leadership: You bring practical experience in the leadership and development of teams and have the pleasure of motivating, developing and taking responsibility Working: Very good analytical skills as well as excellent Excel skills as well as a structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working out Communication: You communicate in German and English (ideally on C1 level), also with international contacts, and convince by negotiation skills and a clear, solution-oriented discussion.
