Key job responsibilities

• Support of colleagues in compliance with the safety guidelines and procedures at the site
• Implementation of the EU network standard, planning preventive maintenance measures and ensuring technical availability
• Collaboration with colleagues on data collection and analysis to improve processes
• Implementation and support of both site-based and network-based projects
• Leadership, support and mentoring for your team to promote professional development

A day in the life You work at one of our operating sites, provide practical guidance to your team and provide a clear overview of all activities at the site. This involves collecting data and solving problems in a dynamic environment. You will also set up an operating plan to make the location more productive and efficient. To do this, you will also introduce new projects that optimize everything from operating processes to equipment maintenance. In addition to security, the most important aspect of this role is the leadership of your team. This includes managing the performance and development of your team members as well as organizing additional training.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical field or comparable (e.g. industrial master or state-tested technician)
• Work experience in a maintenance team in areas of industry or production, where various complex processes take place
• Experience in the management of technical specialists
• experience in communication and relationship management with different stakeholders, including third parties
• Advanced knowledge of German and English in word and writing Preferred qualifications

• Experience in handling legal regulations, such as compliance checks and safety protocols for machines
• Experience with automated devices, including packaging machines, sorting and conveying systems
• Experience in the use of data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
• Experience with project management or with pit, lean or six-sigma processes
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
