Product Development Manager (m/f/d)

Product development: You are actively working on the development of new garden products and the optimization of existing assortments. Project work: You plan and coordinate product development projects and implement them. You cooperate closely with design, purchasing, product and quality management. Report line: You report directly to the Head of Product Development and work closely with it on the strategic development of the range. Market orientation: You are analysing consumer needs and helping to convert them into marketable products. Design coordination: You work with internal and external design teams to realize creative and powerful product ideas. Communication: You stand in exchange with international production partners and assist in coordinating technical details. Special responsibility: You take responsibility for a product area and control product development projects from planning to coordination to controlling. Travel activities: You are looking for close exchange with our international production partners and regularly travel to manufacturing partners in Europe and Asia. Assortment strategy: You ensure that new product lines are consistently aligned with the SIENA GARDEN assortment strategy. Marketing: You work closely with marketing to clearly highlight the strengths of our products. Together with the team, you develop creative storytelling approaches that emotionally charge new product lines and increase their sales opportunities.

Best condition: A completed technical or design study (e.g. engineering, product design) or a comparable qualification. Professional experience: First professional experience in product development or product design is of advantage. Knowledge of the garden market and knowledge of the European and Asian procurement markets for garden products are desirable. Interest: Interest in garden products and a good sense of trends and consumer needs. Language security: Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Setting: team spirit, initiative and a structured way of working. International readiness for travel: You use the direct exchange on site with our partners in Europe and Asia to promote projects efficiently.
