As an internin, you play a crucial role in our efforts to visualize and integrate HMI and support the development of the next generation infotainment platform. Your tasks include the design, development and optimization of interactive Unity 3D applications for our UI developers to ensure a high-perform rendering pipeline. You work closely with our highly motivated UX and software engineering team and contribute to the efficient integration and deployment of 3D assets and code of worldwide distributed teams. Your tasks: Design and development of unique-based visualization tools and pipelines for a community of more than 200 UI developers Implementation and optimization of real-time rendering in Unity (URP), including Shader development (HLSL, Shader Graph) and Render Extensions to improve the visual user experience Creating interactive prototypes and tools to provide clear, action-oriented insights into HMI design and the performance of digital twins Use of AI tools for process and workflow optimization (e.g. generation/optimization of assets, code assistance, automated tests/CI pipelines) and development of simple prompt workflows Close cooperation with stakeholders, including architects and product owners, to continuously improve the integration of 3D assets Creation of technical documentation and guidelines for the community The activity can begin from September 2026.

enrolled in a study programme of computer science, media informatics, game development or a related subject Practical experience with real-time rendering concepts and shader programming (Shader Graph, HLSL) and sound knowledge in C# scripting Confidentiality with 3D set pipelines (e.g. Blender, Maya) and formats such as FBX/GLTF Knowledge of performance optimization, profiling tools and render pipelines (especially URP) Experience with version management (e.g. Git) and basic knowledge of CI/CD processes Strong team spirit and excellent communication and collaboration skills High commitment, fast understanding and passion for technology flowing English knowledge; German knowledge is advantageous What we offer A place in the first row for pioneering innovations in the automotive industry Practical experience with modern 3D engines and real-time methods Mentoring and cooperation with a diverse, motivated team of experts
