A 12 BBesO / E12 TV EntgO-DRV Activity The Division 16 “Company Security” performs tasks of IT and physical security as a central service provider of the DRV Bund, the protection of personal data, the protection of privacy and emergency management as well as basic and cross-sectional tasks. The Security Operations Center (SOC) controls the operational IT security of the DRV Bund and other connected RV carriers. For this purpose, the SOC operates specialized systems for detecting vulnerabilities and attacks and for responding to IT security incidents, for which it is the central point of contact. With the coordination and implementation of penetration tests, the SOC also performs preventive tasks. We are looking for a Senior Vulnerability Analyst*in, who does not wait until something happens, but finds weaknesses, evaluates and reports before You become a problem. Identify (VM scans) and control the treatment of vulnerabilities, in particular zero-day (process optimization), including prioritization in the context of business criticality and threat (risk analysis) Solutions and integration in automation and ticket solutions Regular measurement, identification and preparation of vulnerability indicators, and the derivation of improvement measures Documentation of results and creation of relevant reports for technical and non-technical interest groups Sighting, evaluating and treating safety-relevant messages from superordinate bodies Advising risk assessments and prioritizing and coordinating mitigation measures Maintenance and development of the vulnerability scanner tool including the setup of scans, user administration and dashboards

A completed university education (Bachelor, Diploma) in the IT sector or an equivalent qualification, for example due to an IT-specific qualification or a completed vocational training in the IT sector with a corresponding long-term task-relevant experience Multiannual practical experience in the field of activity Practical experience with common vulnerability scanners Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network technologies as well as handling security messages from external bodies Embossed analytical skills including a structured and independent way of working Willingness to take over reputation as well as occasional service trips (inland) and further trainings/ events also outside the locations Berlin and Würzburg The activity requires knowledge of German in word and writing A strong communication strength and coordination skills, especially in exchange with non-technical stakeholders, as well as a focused knowledge transfer and team skills, complete your profile
