We are looking for a Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO) (m/w/d).

In this role, you report directly to the CEO of ProMinent Group and are responsible for the global, cross-cutting technological and operational orientation of the company. You provide the strategic direction for research & development, production, supply chain, purchasing and quality, create common guidelines and standards and ensure the effective interplay of specialist areas. Their contribution is strategic, conceptual and integrating: You lead over strong, self-responsible areas of expertise, give frameworks, direction and competence – while professional control and operational implementation are in their responsibility.

Member of the Management Board: You report directly to the CEO, represent technology and operations at the top level and actively contribute to the overall strategy of the company. Technology & Innovation Vision: You develop the comprehensive technology and innovation vision and provide the long-term strategic direction for development and operations. Future footprint & strategic orientation: You make footprint and strategic orientation of development and operations essential – from the interconnection of R&E, production, purchasing and supply chain to decisions on the expansion and expansion of our production plants. You actively shape the operational footprint: you initiate strategic measures and implement them with the specialist areas. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: You are driving forward the continuous development of organisation and structures in development and operations, anchoring a continuous CS skills and establishing Operational Excellence as a living standard across all locations. Standards & Architecture: You are responsible for the group-wide framework for technological standards, platform and architecture decisions and thus create the basis on which the departments provide their own responsibility. Portfolio, Investment & Partner Control: You prioritize technology and innovation investments at group level, meet make-or-buy decisions and position ProMinent on strategic technology partnerships as an innovation leader in the market. Digitalization & Future Technologies: You drive forward the cross-border digitalization agenda – from digital products and IoT to Industry 4.0 to the topic of artificial intelligence – and strategically anchor data-driven business models within the company. Strategic Sparring Partner: You advise CEO and management in technology, innovation and operations strategic issues and interlink growth, innovation and operation goals with the overarching corporate goals.

Academic background: You have completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or physics); an MBA is advantageous. Leadership experience at the top management level: You bring several years of experience at management or comparable top management level and have led large international organisations across portfolio boundaries – ideally in innovation-driven B2B industry companies. Strategic overall responsibility: You think entrepreneurship at a global level, link technology, innovation and operations to a coherent strategy, carry overall/result responsibility and consistently bring measures with measurable business benefits to implementation. Technology & Innovation Competence: You combine strong technological expertise with a strategic sense of market, customer and technology trends and have successfully implemented technology and innovation strategies. Development & Operations concession at strategic level: You understand global development, production, purchasing and supply chain structures and strategically align them. You provide frameworks and orientation without interfering in the operational detail control of the departments. Digitization: You are experienced in the strategic handling of digital technologies, IoT and automation solutions as well as data-driven business models. International leadership competence: You successfully conduct international, multicultural organisations – primarily through strong, independent disciplines – and establish a powerful culture in a matrix organization. Personality: You are an inspiring, powerful and integrative leader with strategic vision, decision-making strength and the ability to bring together different interests. Language skills & mobility: You have knowledge of German and English in a safe manner and bring a high international readiness to travel.
