The health and nursing assistant (w/m/d) is a nationally regulated healthcare professional with a one-year training of the health care sector. Care assistants are part of the professional nursing team and assist nurses in their tasks. Nursing helpers work with body care measures, convert and store patients and assist in food intake. You observe and control the pulse, temperature, blood pressure and breathing of their patients. You also accompany them for examinations, treatments and therapies. Health and nursing staff are also responsible for cleanliness and hygiene. You clean and maintain instruments, tools, care for cleanliness in the patient rooms and align the beds. You also carry out simple medical instructions and regulations and care documentation.
