Head of Protective Equipment Technology (a*)

You are responsible for the safe operation of the associated equipment in the entire system of power plants and in the laboratory of protective technology. Work processes coordinate and optimize with regard to efficiency and quality. When introducing new protective devices in the area, you actively participate in the creation of documents and training. In close cooperation with the other specialist groups of secondary technology and purchasing, you will ensure smooth processes. You evaluate device disorders, coordinate their correction and start sound disturbance analyses and reports. Protection devices are checked for malfunctions or new acquisitions. In addition, you will set up requirements catalogues and carry out calls for new protective and auxiliary equipment. Technically and disciplinefully, you will lead the team of protective equipment technology. In addition, you will ensure all processes, risk assessments, guidelines and documents necessary for work security and organization – including training of employees.

You have a successfully completed (specialized) university degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable discipline. Ideally, you bring professional experience in protective technology. You have project experience in transmission or distribution networks of the power supply. First management experience you could already collect or are ready to take over this responsibility. A pronounced social thinking as well as stress and conflicting skills characterize you. In addition, you bring about implementation skills as well as communication and organizational skills. You are motivated to contribute to a secure network operation in Hamburg. A class B driving license completes your profile.
