The county county of Bentheim is actively engaged in climate protection and the achievement of climate targets. As part of the implementation of the climate protection pioneering concept, an engineer*in is sought, which is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of measures for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This position is central to achieving greenhouse gas neutrality by 2040 and offers the opportunity to actively participate in shaping a sustainable future. Development and further development of climate protection strategies and concepts in coordination with internal and external actors Consultation and support of the circular municipalities to use climate protection funds Developing action plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions Identification of synergies and potentials for climate-friendly solutions in existing processes and projects Control of working groups, coordination with specialist departments, external partners and funding providers Collection, analysis and assessment of data on the greenhouse gas balance and progress of measures Further development of indicators and monitoring systems for success control

a successfully completed technical-engineering and scientific studies with the focus on the environment, sustainability, climate protection and a comparable discipline Knowledge in the areas of greenhouse gas balance, energy efficiency and renewable energies as well as experience in public relations are desirable high self-initiative, strong communication skills and a structured way of working Identification with the goals of climate protection and sustainability Joy of networking and interdisciplinary cooperation
