Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant (Manufacturing) (m/f/d) - Quantum Frontline Industries

Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) is a newly established German-Ukrainian defence joint venture between Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics, created under the Build with Ukraine initiative. For the first time, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on industrial scale in Europe, combining Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology with German industrial automation to create a new model of cross-border defence co-production: the German Model.

All-round role with a focus on monthly closing, HGB and ERP For a modern mid-sized production company, we are looking for experienced, structured and digitally minded professional for our accounting department. In this role, you will take on a central all-round function in day-to-day accounting – from operational postings to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. You will work closely with commercial management, the external tax advisor, as well as the purchasing, warehouse and production departments, and contribute to building efficient accounting and ERP processes. Your role in daily operations: Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting, in particular general ledger, receipts and fixed asset accounting

Operational engagement in accounts amounts, including account reconciliation, reconciliations and execution of payment runs

Reconciliation of bank, general ledger and vendor accounts, as well as understanding of open items

Preparation and execution of monthly closings, including commissions and accruals

Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB in collaboration with the tax advisor

Preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings

Support in liquidity planning, reporting and internal analyses

Further development of accounting processes within the ERP system

Main point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks and internal departments

What you bring:

Completed commercial training, e.g. as a tax clerk, industrial clerk or a comparable qualification

several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally as a Senior Financial Accountant, Sole Accountant or Balance Sheet Accountant

Solid knowledge of accounting in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and experience with closing monthlys

Confident handling of VAT-related topics in daily operations

Willingness to contribute both operationally and further develop processes

Experience working with ERP systems

Strong Excel skills and high digital affinity

Structured, accurate and independent way of working

Understanding of operational processes in purchasing, warehouse, production and receipt

Very good German and English skills
