Completed scientific university studies in physics or chemistry or equivalent expertise, skills and experience, doctorate desired Knowledge of national policies and trends in research policy Good knowledge of the national economic system and the support landscape, as well as good scientific expertise in the ErUM areas Experiences with basic scientific research on large-scale equipment such as CERN, ESRF, FAIR, IceCube, ILL, VLT Interest in science management and work at the interface between politics, science and society as well as strategic thinking and understanding of research policy relationships Own initiative and problem-solving and on-time working Safe and competent appearance, especially as regards representations from research and policy German and very good knowledge of English in word and writing
