NTT DATA is a global leader in this field, and as a Future Payment Solutions Lead (m/w/d), you are now helping to expand this position even more in DACH. You advise our customers – leading banks, FinTechs and payment providers – in developing and implementing innovative payment solutions. You always have a look at both technological opportunities and market requirements. In close cooperation with our technology and specialist teams, you drive the design of new business models (e.g. BNPL, Instant Payments, Open Banking) as well as their integration into existing IT landscapes. You translate strategic requirements into concrete, implementable (IT) roadmaps and take care of the successful implementation of our customers. Your mission

• You advise our customers in the financial services sector in the strategy and implementation of future-oriented payment solutions – from instant payments to embedded finance to DLT-based applications.
• You support business development and sales process, analyze customer requirements and develop customized value propositions around this topic of the future.
• As a Thought Leader for Future Payments, you represent NTT DATA at conferences, publications and social media. You bring your expertise to trends, use cases, relevant IT architectures and regulatory developments.
• You arrange internal stakeholders (e.g. delivery, partner management, CoEs) and external partners (e.g. FinTech partners, technology providers) to efficiently implement scalable solutions.
• In customer projects, you take the role as consultant, project manager or Subject Matter Expert (SME) for future payment processes to ensure that technical and professional requirements are optimally met.
• You accompany the construction of new partners Ecosystems in the payment area and continuously identify business opportunities for NTT DATA and our customers.

Your skill set

• Complete studies (e.g. in BWL, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable subject) and at least 5 years of professional experience in IT consulting or in the financial sector.
• Understanding payment transactions and payment technologies, including RTGS/Instant Payments, Open Banking APIs and Payment Schemas (SEPA, SWIFT).
• Regulatory knowledge of PSD2, EBA Guidelines, MiCAR and, if necessary, other relevant requirements (e.g. DORA, MaRisk, eWpG) to advise customers on issues such as compliance and security.
• Experience in consulting and project management (methods such as Agile, Scrum, Prince2) and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• You have a strong customer orientation and bring a “hands-on mentality” to advance topics pragmatically.
• Negotiating German and English skills as well as a basic readiness for customer projects complete your profile.
