Export and customs officer (m/w/d)

Our client is a company in the field of trade and industrial services with several locations in northern Germany, with headquarters in Flensburg. Due to the continued business success, the company continues to grow and is looking for a dedicated specialist in the field of export & customs to strengthen the team. In this position you will find a varied area of work that requires an independent and structured way of working. Through your expertise in export and customs, you contribute significantly to the success of the company, along with an export and foreign trade team. You are responsible for the disposition of overseas containers and coordinate the export and import of containers. You coordinate the internal disposition of the internal fleet. You conduct negotiations with logistics service providers. You accompany the customs processing until the goods are released and ensure that all legal requirements are complied with.

You have completed commercial training or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you will bring experience in the field of export and import and customs. Good English skills in word and writing are of course for you and are required in your daily work. You work in a structured and independent manner and always keep an overview even in hectic times.
