In your role as Fire Safety Officer (m/w/d), you contribute significantly to ensuring the safety of our sites, buildings and employees. You actively contribute to the construction, technical and organizational fire protection and introduce your expertise where it makes the greatest difference: in the protection of people, in the preservation of our facilities and in the further development of a modern, future-oriented safety environment. You take over the function of the fire protection officer for our Remscheid site and perspective for further locations and ensure that legal requirements and internal guidelines are complied with at any time Their tasks also include the analysis and assessment of potential fire hazards, together with internal departments, external specialist planners and authorities, to identify and minimize risks at an early stage Your advice helps managers and employees develop a strong awareness of preventive fire protection throughout the company Its responsibility also includes the maintenance and updating of central documents such as fire plans, escape plans and rescue plans or fire protection regulations in cooperation with external service providers. Together with interdisciplinary teams, you will accompany audits, certifications and public fire shows and contribute to successful audits and visits In cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, you control smaller construction and modernization measures, including budgeting, external service provider control and cost control

Qualification: You have a bachelor's degree in the field of fire protection, safety technology, safety and danger prevention or a comparable field of expertise and ideally bring both well-founded experience in preventive and organizational fire protection with and experience in cooperation with authorities and test organisations Know-how and skills: Your work is analytical and structured, you communicate clearly and understandably and have the ability to enable employees in the course of training.
