During your practice-integrated training, you will get a wide range of insights into the pedagogical work. Your practice takes place in Hagen, Witten, Gevelsberg and Wetter. You will get to know different areas of work of child and youth assistance, our daycare centres and adult help.

In your training, you connect the learned from the school directly with the practical work. You will be accompanied by experienced colleagues and will be given the opportunity to get to know different areas of work. Start: 1 August 2027 Duration: 3 years Remuneration: You receive a training salary throughout the training. Varied practice: You change your field of application every year and get to know different facilities and work areas. Theory and Practice: You connect work in our institutions with schooling at a specialized school (vocational college). Important: In addition to your application with us, you also apply for a school place. We cooperate with various professional colleagues in the region. You need one of the following access requirements: At least the upper secondary school (average school degree) with a relevant completed vocational training, for example as a social assistant or nurse The subject with a subject-related internship Higher education or general higher education (Abitur) with a relevant internship in the social field of at least 240 hours In addition, you need an advanced guidance certificate.
