Procurement Engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d)

Location: Munich

Representation of procurement interests within development projects taking into account the overriding commodity and sourcing strategies Active compilation of global manufacturing costs by targeted reduction of material costs based on target-costing approaches for new and revised products Interface function between project management, development, production, strategic purchasing, quality assurance and external suppliers Individually responsible implementation of international tenders, price negotiations and selection processes up to the contractual design Planning and moderation of supplier workshops as part of new developments and design-to-cost and technology screening initiatives Creation and maintenance of reports on product and material costs

Completed, at least three years of technical or commercial training, as well as further qualification (e.g. VWA-operator) with relevant specialist practice Comprehensive experience from several years in purchasing, project management or R&E as well as cross-departmental cooperation Ideally first practical knowledge of SAP Team-oriented personality with pronounced communication strength, negotiation skills and clear target orientation Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
