Number: MER00048I4 With us in sitting experience Top-End SUV (RD/MIS) we are responsible for all MB-Cars seats from Smart to S-Class: We are professionals for comfort, wrinkles, leather and silent adjustment. The Team Fondsitz is responsible for the development of the second and third rows of seats of the GLE/GLS, the comprehensive project management of these series and the next GLB generation's fund seats. In addition, we also support the technological development of all artificial leather in all seats. For our area, we offer the opportunity to create a master thesis on project management in the development of seats. We are a large, colorful team with different backgrounds.

Together with you we want to further develop the project management of our highly complex seating projects. Our products are developed worldwide at different locations and together with numerous internal and external development partners. As part of your master's thesis, you will examine a current question from the areas of project management, maturity, change or appointment management.

Your tasks in detail Analysis of existing methods and processes of project management in seat development

Investigation of appropriate key figures for evaluating project status, project maturity, dates, costs, weight and risks

Analysis of deviations between planned and actual project dates

Development of a possible KPI system or dashboard for the transparent representation of the project status

Investigation of change and decision-making processes and their impact on project maturity

Analysis of the traceability of changes and decisions in existing systems and documentation

Considering the time management and presentation of project schedules and milestones

Integrating the perspectives of internal departments, project partners and, where appropriate, external suppliers

Conducting and evaluating interviews with relevant stakeholders

deriving practical recommendations for action for the further development of project management

Investigation of possible fields of application of data analysis and artificial intelligence to support project transparency, knowledge management and decision-making

Development of documents for internal decision-making and decision-making

Presentation and documentation of the results

Studies in Business Engineering, BWL or the like

Interest in project management, process optimization and digitization
