Then become part of our team – now in Essen as Annotation & Quality Manager (m/w/d) – KI & street infrastructure Your tasks Annotation & AI data quality Special leadership and coordination of the annotation team for AI training data (image annotation of road damage) Definition, care and development of annotation policies (e.g. cracks, breakouts, patches) Ensuring high data and label quality for machine learning models Conducting samples, reviews and feedback loops for continuous quality improvement Quality assurance & user perspective (practice and sensuality check) holistic evaluation of the software product from the perspective of a typical user in municipal civil engineering Assessment of usability and user management: Can you quickly and intuitively find the relevant information? Are navigation, terms and workflows self-explanatory? Do you come “where to go” with a few steps?

Close coordination with product management and development in order to allow recognised weaknesses to flow into further development at an early stage Requirements Management & Azure DevOps Structure, care and prioritization of professional requirements (Epics, Features, User Stories) in Azure DevOps Translation of technical requirements from road construction into feasible technical requirements Close cooperation with product owners, developers and data scientists Support for release planning, backlog care and acceptance criteria

Your profile Qualification Study in the field of civil engineering (focus on road construction / transport), infrastructure management or comparable Alternative: many years of practical experience in municipal road construction / civil engineering Knowledge of road damage and conservation strategies common rules

Methodological & technical competence Experience in quality assurance of software or data-driven systems Ideally experience with: AI/ML projects or image annotation Azure DevOps (Boards, Backlogs, Work Items)
