Then you are right in our currently six-member team of contract and resource management for the census project! Together with other areas of our unit “F1-QueSt – Cross-sectional and control tasks”, we are responsible for a wide range of tasks such as project management, operational project management, quality management and tasks in the fields of cyber security and data protection. As an employee in contract and resource management, you can expect diverse and varied tasks with interfaces to the other areas of the project, central points in the Federal Statistical Office and external service providers that support the project.

With you, we extend our team for contract and resource management in the large project Zensus 2031 including the need planning and testing, support of the commissioning process and contract processing. The independent design of contract documents in German (special) language is an important part of the tasks. Knowledge of the German language at the native language level is therefore assumed. You take over the preparation of award documents together with the demand providers and in cooperation with the Central Procurement Office of the Federal Statistical Office as well as the central IT department of the Federal Office. You contribute to the further development of the subject area of contract and resource management in terms of content and methodologies, and you actively shape change processes. You advise the department, group and unit lines with regard to the control of external service providers and the assignments in the Zensus 2031 project. You will also bring your expertise to the preparation of mission- or resource-related decisions for the Zensus 2031 IT major project. You take over the work organizational survey and processing of information on the contractual and resource situation in the Zensus 2031 project in close cooperation with the needs-supporting and other participating bodies and stakeholders

Completed scientific higher education (Master / Diplom-Uni. / Magister) of a degree in law, administration or economics In addition, well-founded knowledge in contracting, ideally focusing on work and service contracts in IT; practical experience with the creation and evaluation of contracts and knowledge of EVB-IT is of advantage, knowledge of procurement law, with a focus on (IT) procurement in public administration, knowledge of IT project management and joy in communication with stakeholders in the projects, good analytical skills and a structured approach combined with a pronounced understanding of numbers and an extremely conscientious approach General expectations for the position can be found in the functional description “Scientific/-r Employees” e.g. gender competence
