Become part of our 'Information/ Innovation/ Central IT' section in the ''Central Information Technology' section Part of our team in Gelsenkirchen as Data Protection Coordinator (m/w/d) The aim of the body is to develop and implement concepts for ensuring technical data protection in the VRR information and IT systems with the integration of optimal user processes.

You are responsible for the planning and implementation of the technical data protection of the systems located in the Information/ Innovation/Central IT department You are responsible for creating and maintaining a department-wide “Privacy by Design” concept including Implementation guidelines You work closely with the operational data protection officer and supported the definition and modification of the data protection strategy for the VRR AöR You define implementation measures for the department and the applications used and operated there and implement them together with the departments In your function, you are the first contact person(s) for the data protection officer(s) in case of data protection incidents concerning systems and data of the department

Graduate/Master of Computer Science, Technical IT Security or Comparative and Appropriate Practical Experience Very good technical knowledge and legal knowledge in the areas of IT and data protection law Very good knowledge of DV structures and standards, interface definitions and network technologies In-depth knowledge in application development and requirements engineering and IT security Project management knowledge in theory and practice as well as knowledge in the topic ''privacy by design' An independent and targeted and systematic way of working Very good analytical and conceptual skills Continuous training and a high level of enforcement and team skills
