Senior Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

At the closest possible time, we are looking for a 'Senior Integration Engineer (m/w/d)' in the central function Group IT Services in the Integration Department.

You want to:

In your role as ''Senior Integration Engineer (m/w/d)'', you play a key role in designing, developing and operating modern integration solutions based on the Anypoint Integration Suite.

To do this, you combine complex and API-driven systems with each other elegantly and take over the architecture, development and operation of integration solutions based on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

In addition, you are responsible for the implementation of API‐led, batch and event-driven integration patterns as well as the design, implementation and documentation of RESTful APIs (including Open API Specifications).

You can also use central Anypoint components such as Design Center, Exchange, Runtime Manager, API Manager and Access Management, develop complex transformations using DataWeave and create Custom Java Components.

You are also responsible for the integration of systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, 1C ERP, as well as for the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines as well as automation (e.g. via Python, GitHub Actions, Anypoint REST APIs) in the DevOps / GitOps style.

Working with other teams to use cloud services such as S3, IAM, VPC, Route Tables, Lambda, SNS and SQS is also part of your task.

We wish:

Multiannual experience in software development or a comparable role in the development, deployment or operation of integration within an enterprise landscape

Ideal experience with the Mulesoft Integration Platform and the MuleSoft Certified Developer and MuleSoft Certified Architect

Experience with building and using generic APIs and corresponding API-driven landscapes

Very good understanding and safe handling of API Contracts (RAML/OAS) and Message Queues (e.g. AWS SQS)

Very good knowledge of event-driven architectural patterns and asynchronous integrations

Experience with SOPS, AWS KMS and modern secret management practices

Openness to unknown technologies, in particular enterprise software solutions

Funded understanding of IAM principles (Least Privilege, Cross-Account Roles, Service Identities)

Good programming knowledge in Python or other comparable languages

Joy of Clean Documentation, Clean Code, High Code Quality and Collaborative Cooperation (Pull Requests, Peer Reviews, ...)

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
