In your role as Senior / Lead Software Architect (m/w/d), you play a leading role in shaping our consulting and architectural services at the highest level. At the same time, you continue to work actively in software projects and are responsible for delivering the solutions. You advise our customers: strategically at eye level and support them in developing forward-looking software architectures that sustain their business goals. As a technical Sparring partner: you work closely with stakeholders at management level and take responsibility for the communication and moderation of architectural topics. You decisively shape our architecture consulting portfolio, develop innovative technological solutions together with the development teams and identify potentials for new business areas. You support and coach the development team as well as architect:in architectural decisions and establish a sustainable software architecture competence. You are responsible for the quality of the software architecture through regular reviews, audits and feedback loops. You significantly shape the development setup and the entire development process and consider the delivery of excellent software products comprehensively – technically, methodically and culturally.

What we want from you

You have well-founded and long-standing experience in professional software development and architecture and have a wide range of experience in various modern technologies and frameworks (preferably in the Java environment). You have strong abilities in communication, moderation and stakeholder management and are used to make and represent strategic decisions. You have extensive experience with modern architectural principles, such as Domain Driven Design (DDD), Event Driven Architectures and Microservices. You have well-founded expertise in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and understand how to integrate them into the software architecture in a targeted and effective way. Your experience includes the strategic creation and control of comprehensive architectural documentation, e.g. arc42 or comparable standards. You are familiar with the leadership and development of agile development teams and support them in achieving excellence and achieving the project goals. You like to work independently and proactively, have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and recognize opportunities and risks in complex IT landscapes at an early stage. You think constant learning is essential and have fun meeting exciting challenges every day in an agile team. You have knowledge of German and are open to occasional travels to our customers.
