For our Hybrid Cloud Platform service field in the Tribe Hybrid Cloud Services (HCPHCS), we are looking for you as a provider manager for Public Cloud (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe, Munich and Munich. Münster. Your activity is assigned to Chapter/Squad Public Cloud Security, Compliance, Provider Management. Here you work with 21 colleagues across locations and with a variety of interfaces.

Your tasks with perspectives You will continue to control and develop strategic partnerships with leading public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure at professional, technological and commercial level. You are responsible for the holistic provider and contract management including governance, performance management, escalation management and commercial and regulatory frameworks. You establish resilient control and collaboration models between internal stakeholders, platform teams and external cloud providers. You conduct strategic coordination on service quality, operational models, roadmaps, innovation initiatives and technological developments. You evaluate new public cloud services and accompany their implementation taking into account technical, regulatory, safety-relevant and economic requirements. You analyse risks, dependencies and cost developments within the provider landscape and thereby guide well-founded recommendations for action for management and decision-making bodies. You actively promote the continuous development of governance, control and provider management processes in the context of strategic cloud partnerships. You play a central role in managing complex escalation and transformation situations in the cloud environment.

Your personality with profile You will be awarded a completed study of economic informatics or psychology as well as many years of relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification as well as experience in the management of cross-disciplinary (partial) projects. You have well-founded experience in strategic provider management, vendor management or partner management within complex IT or cloud organizations. You bring a strong understanding of modern public cloud platforms and ideally practical experience with GCP, Microsoft Azure or comparable hyperscalers. You understand the relationships between technology, governance, compliance, operating models and commercial control mechanisms. Ideally, you bring experience from cloud transformations, regulated environments or large-scale platform organisations. You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level). You are confidently moving at different levels of management and convince by strong communication, negotiation and moderation capabilities. You are able to strategically evaluate complex technical and contractual issues and prepare them for addressing. You work structured, analytically and solution-oriented and keep an overview even in challenging control and escalation situations.
