The Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB) is one of the major globally connected research museums of the Leibniz Association. In addition to excellent research on biodiversity and their change, we are driving the development of our extensive scientific collections with an international team and the latest technology. With our exhibition, mediation and communication work at our exhibition venues Museum Koenig Bonn and Museum der Natur Hamburg, we want to inspire nature and bring us with our research topics into current social policy discussions on biodiversity, climate change and the protection of ecosystems. The construction of an integrated natural science museum is planned for the Hamburg site; the research infrastructure is currently being significantly expanded at the Bonn site.
