You want to work on an international research centre dedicated to the development of solutions for the pressing energy issues of our society? Then you are right with us! At HZB, numerous specialist departments support research on innovative materials for sustainable energy supply. As an internal service provider, our team based in Berlin-Wannsee is part of the HZB's financial department. We support third-party funding projects and third-party funding orders from our various donors and economic partners – from the submission of applications through project controlling to project accounting. As a commercial project consultant, you have the chance to actively support us in these tasks. Your focus will be on supporting a project funded by the EU with a funding volume of € 6 million. You work in an open and friendly team where all employees are valued and encouraged with their specific skills.

You are the central administrative contact for the EU project – both for the scientists and for the project partners and the Senate of Berlin. You coordinate the timely and legally compliant provision of all documents required for billing. You'll start using the project. You will contribute to the internal and external reporting refund as well as the annual accounts. You support us in our digitalization process.

completed economic studies (BSc), ideally focusing on financial and accounting or controlling or comparable qualification first experience in third-party management, in particular ERDF knowledge of German and English SAP FI/CO; Microsoft Office applications Affinity for digital processes ideally: experience in administrative coordination and/or project management ideally: comprehensive knowledge of national and international grant law, aid law, trade and tax law
